While this sharpener is small and exactly the size of a dog tag, it still contains many features such as Duromite™ cutters, additional honing surfaces, and a Ceramitized coating that will protect it in even the harshest of environments. The Redi-Edge® Dog Tag is factory-set at a 40° or a 60° angle. The 40° inclusive angle maintains a consistent 20° double cutting edge on most knives and the 60° inclusive angle maintains a consistent 30° double cutting edge on tactical knives. The Duromite™ inserts are harder than any knife blade! These dog tag sharpeners come factory pre-set to the inclusive angles of 40° and 60°.
